Your main responsibilities will include:
• Advising clients on pleasure boat insurance products and coverage.
• Handling incoming client requests, policy changes, and renewals.
• Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring timely follow-ups.
• Developing expertise in APRIL Marine insurance products.
• Supporting the sales team with quotes and new business when needed.
• Collaborating with brokers, assistants, and the APRIL Marine underwriting team.
• Investigating existing policies to verify coverage details, review policy information, and resolve discrepancies.
To apply for this position, you must have:
• A valid RIBO license (required)
• 2–3 years of experience as an insurance broker, preferably in personal lines
• Excellent English, both spoken and written
• Strong customer service skills and a genuine interest in advising and helping clients
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple requests and priorities
• A strong sense of responsibility, autonomy, and attention to detail
• The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience in boat insurance (an asset)
